OMU Graduate Education Institute Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master's Program with Thesis has started to accept students for the Spring semester of the 2021-2022 academic year.
Earned Degree
Students who complete the OMU Graduate Education Institute Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master's Program with Thesis receive the Master's degree and the title of 'Expert Physiotherapist'.

Admission and Registration Conditions
Four-year Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department undergraduate graduates can apply to the master's program. Candidates must also have English (YDS or equivalent) and ALES scores. Applications are accepted according to Ondokuz Mayıs University Graduate Education Regulations.
Recognition of Previous Learning (Formal, In-formal, Non-formal)
Students who come to the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master's program through horizontal transfer may be exempt from some courses within the framework of the regulations. These procedures will be valid following the approval of the course content by the relevant program/institute board of directors and the completion of applications within the deadline.
Qualification Conditions and Rules
To take at least 60 ECTS courses from the compulsory and elective courses available in the graduate programs of the department and be successful. In addition, to be successful in defending the thesis in front of a jury in a field related to the subject.

(Universities, Public and Private Healthcare Institutions, etc.), including Orthopedics and Traumatology, Neurology/Pediatric Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Pulmonology/Thoracic Surgery, Pediatrics, Urology, Oncology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Intensive Care Units, Plastic Surgery/Burn Units, Rheumatology, Emergency Service Units. 2.Rehabilitation Centers/Prosthetics-Orthotics Units 3.Primary Healthcare Services 4.Industrial Sectors 5.Schools 6.Sports Clubs 7.Nursing Homes 8.Vocational Rehabilitation Centers 9.Thermal Springs Centers 10.Private Education and Rehabilitation Centers 11.Graduates who want to work in the academic field can pursue an academic career at universities. 12.Graduates of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation can pursue postgraduate education in their own fields or related fields, provided they achieve a passing grade in the ALES exam and demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
Transition to Higher Degree Programs
Candidates who have successfully completed their master's degree must have a valid score in the relevant field of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES), have a sufficient English language certificate (YDS, TOEFL, YÖKDİL, etc.) (one of the language exams accepted by the Interuniversity Board). They can study in PhD programs provided that they are graduates and have received a valid grade from the interview conducted by the relevant department.
Examinations, Measurement, and Evaluation
The method of measurement and evaluation applied for each course is determined by the Ondokuz Mayıs University Graduate Regulations and the principles of the relevant institutes.
