OMU Graduate School of Graduate Education Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master's Program with Thesis started to admit students in the Spring semester of 2021-2022 academic year.
Degree Awarded
Students who complete the OMU Graduate School of Postgraduate Education Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master's Program with Thesis receive a Master's degree and receive the title of “Specialist Physiotherapist”.

Admission and Registration Requirements
Four-year undergraduate graduates of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department can apply to the master's program. Candidates must also have English (YDS or equivalent) and ALES score. Applications are accepted according to Ondokuz Mayıs University Graduate Education Regulations.
Rules on Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, in-formal, non-formal)
Students who transfer to the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master's program may be exempt from some courses within the framework of the regulations. These procedures will be valid after the approval of the course content by the relevant program/institute board of directors and the completion of the applications within the deadline.
Qualification Requirements and Rules
To take at least 60 ECTS courses from the compulsory and elective courses available in the graduate programs of the department and to be successful. In addition, to be successful by defending the thesis prepared in a field related to the subject in front of the jury.

Transfer to Higher Degree Programs
Candidates who have successfully completed their Master's degree can study in PhD programs provided that they get a valid grade from the relevant field of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES), have a sufficient level of English language certificate (YDS, TOEFL, YÖKDİL, etc.) (from one of the language exams accepted by the Interuniversity Board) and get a valid grade from the interview conducted by the relevant department.
Exams, Assessment and Evaluation
The measurement and evaluation method applied for each course is determined by Ondokuz Mayıs University Graduate Regulations and the principles of the relevant institutes.
